Adobe Launches CX Enterprise: Agentic AI for Full Customer Lifecycle

The system orchestrates campaigns, personalizes journeys, and closes the loop on conversion attribution without step-by-step prompting. Adobe says more than 40% of organizations now have AI agents in some production capacity.

Adobe's bet is that the agent layer wins inside the application, not at the model layer — and they may be right. For most enterprises, "agentic AI" will arrive bundled into existing software contracts rather than via standalone deployments. The risk for buyers: vendor lock-in is about to get dramatically worse. An agent that has 18 months of behavioral context on your customer base is uniquely hard to migrate. Negotiate data-portability clauses into every agent-enabled SaaS renewal this year, or you'll regret it in 2027.
